Holidays & Maintenance Shut Down Periods

Just a reminder that CJ will be shut down during the following time frame. 

THANKSGIVING:  Closed Thursday, 11/22/12, reopening for business at 7AM CST on Monday, 11/26/12.

WINTER MAINTENANCE SHUT DOWN:  Closed Monday, 12/24/12, reopening for business at 7AM CST on Wednesday, 1/2/13.

Summer Holiday & Maintenance Shut Down

Just a reminder that CJ will be shut down during the following times.  During these periods the plant and office will be closed.  Limited staff will be available to answer phone calls and address customer needs.  Please feel free to leave a message or communicate via email and we will  respond as soon as possible.

*INDEPENDENCE DAY:  Closed Wednesday, 7/4/12, reopening for business at 7 AM CST on Thursday, 7/5/12.

*ANNUAL MAINTENANCE SHUTDOWN:  Closed starting at 12 PM CST on Friday, 7/20/12, reopening for business on Monday, 8/6/12 at 7 AM CST.

*LABOR DAY:  Closed Monday, 9/3/12, reopening for business at 7 AM CST Tuesday, 9/4/12.

New Quality Manager

Gordon Glosser brings a wealth of quality and operational experience to Clifford-Jacobs.  After graduating from the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD with a B.S. in Systems Engineering, he served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps, holding various leadership positions including Commanding Officer.  Upon leaving the military, he held various quality, engineering and manufacturing positions, including those of Corporate Quality Manager, Engineering Manager and Production Manager.  His efforts have helped several companies achieve initial ISO Registration of their quality systems in both single and multi- plant operations.  At Clifford-Jacobs, Gordon’s expertise and knowledge will help take the company to the next level of expertise, quality and customer satisfaction.  He has held the CQE designation and has his MBA.

New President Joins the Clifford-Jacobs Team!

Bruce Wylie is a proven strategic and operational leader.  Prior to joining Clifford-Jacobs in April 2011, Bruce held key management and Board positions with a variety of growth companies for over 20 years.  Starting his career with Ernst & Young, a global tax and financial services firm, Bruce quickly moved into leadership roles there and with operating companies such Patriot Forge Co., one of the largest open-die forging companies in North America, and financial institutions such as BMO Capital Corporation, a subsidiary of one of the largest banks in Canada.  He has been a member of Boards of Directors of 15 private companies, 3 public companies and 2 not-for-profit organizations.  Additionally, Bruce holds the Canadian designations of Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator.  As Clifford-Jacobs continues to grow, Bruce’s background and expertise is taking us to higher levels of efficiency and most importantly, customer satisfaction.  Please join us in welcoming Bruce to the team!

INDEPENDENCE DAY: Closed Monday, 7/4/11, reopening for business at 7 AM CST on Tuesday, 7/5/11.
ANNUAL MAINTENANCE SHUTDOWN: Closed starting at 12 PM CST on Friday, July 22rd, reopening on Monday, August 8th at 7 AM. During this period the plant and office will be shutdown. Limited staff will be available to answer phone calls and address customer needs. Please feel free to leave a message or send emails and we will respond as soon as possible.
LABOR DAY: Closed Monday, 9/5/11, reopening for business at 7 AM CST on Tuesday, 9/6/11.

Paris Air Show

We are very excited to also announce that a new crew started on our second shift, with our 20,000 pound hammer.  As this team ramps up production levels, lead times will continue to drop.  A third crew is planned to be added to our second shift in May.  We will keep you updated on our added capacity levels, but know that Clifford-Jacobs is committed to serving you 100%.
